The Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications (CMQ) Aéronautique Auvergne Rhône Alpes (AURA) is a network of establishments offering initial (school, student and apprentice status) and continuing training courses in line with the needs of companies in the aeronautics sector, supported by research laboratories and a group of partners from the socio-economic world. It relies on two network leaders: the Roger Claustres High School in Clermont Ferrand and the SIGMA Clermont engineering school. This network of 20 secondary and higher education establishments (initial and continuing education) now trains more than 750 learners per year in 44 courses from CAP to doctorate, 10 certification courses (CQP, professional titles) and 6 complementary training modules around 3 areas of expertise: - Production and shaping of innovative materials and production of mechanical assemblies (structure, systems and avionics), - Civil and military aeronautical maintenance and repair, - Design and production of special machines and mechatronic sub-assemblies for aeronautics.
