The Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw) e. V. was founded in 1969 by the Bavarian Employers' Associations and, in accordance with its statutes, is active in the field of social policy. Today, the non-profit organisation is one of the largest training companies in Germany. Under the umbrella of bbw e. V., 17 educational, integration and counselling organisations with around 10,000 employees are active - primarily in Bavaria, but also nationwide and internationally in 25 countries on four continents. The bbw offers early childhood care, training and further education for public clients and companies as well as studies at the Bavarian Business School. The portfolio also includes other services such as temporary employment and a transfer company.
