İklim değişikliğiyle mücadelede her bireyin sorumluluk alması ve harekete geçmesi gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda, Yeryüzü İklim Değişikliği ile Mücadele Vakfı’nın kuruluşu önemli bir adımdır. Vakıf, iklim değişikliği sorununa çözüm bulmak, bilimsel araştırmalar yapmak, projeler yürütmek ve genel olarak toplumda farkındalık oluşturmak amacıyla kurulmuştur.
