Institute for Labour Market Development
ILMD is one of the few organisations in Croatia and the region that improves the labour market by implementing innovative intervention models aimed at:
(1) vulnerable groups on the labor market
(2) employers
(3) stakeholders on the labor market (public bodies, educational institutions, NGOs and others)
Interventions for vulnerable groups include (1) career counseling services, job clubs, social mentoring, development of soft and professional skills in cooperation with local stakeholders. Interventions for employers include (2) raising awareness of the importance and educating about ways to include vulnerable groups in their organisations, diversity management (DEI) with special emphasis on the inclusion of people with disabilities. Interventions for stakeholders in the labor market include (3) development of capacities for providing individual support services for career development and inclusion in the labor market, introduction of new work models (e.g. social mentoring), implementation of needs analyses, development of local partnerships for employment, and impact evaluations (projects and programmes). In this regard, we have experience working with stakeholders in the fields of employment, education, and social welfare.
