Floating Farm
For the Floating Farm, it is important to reduce food losses, reduce transport of food and improve food quality. But also, of course, animal welfare, circularity, sustainability and innovation. Bring the farm back into the city as part of a clean, liveable and conscious urban transformation.
Floating Farm stands for circular farming: a large part of our cows' diet consists of organic residues from the city. For instance, our cows are fed brewers' grains from a number of Rotterdam breweries, bran from Schiedam mills, grass from sports fields in the neighbourhood and potato peels from a local processor.
