Federation of Slovak Industrial and Transport Associations is a modern employers ‘organisation and a long-standing professional partner of Slovak industry and transport. One of our interests is also active participation in the improvement of conditions in the field of education. We are directly involved in coordinating VET for labour market needs in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and automotive industry. We provide employers up-to-date information on the latest developments in the dual education system. As a member of the Economic and Social Council of the Slovak Republic, we actively participate in the development and improvement of school legislation. We actively strive to improve the quality of education. For example, by commenting on the school curriculum, participating in the development of norms and graduate profiles. We are the voice of major employers' associations and their companies in the automotive, engineering, electrical, metallurgical, construction, transport and logistics industries. As a member of the Economic and Social Council of the Slovak Republic, we are in direct contact with the government, we enter into legislative proceedings, we bring our own proposals for necessary changes to laws, we influence the economic and social policy of the state. We place emphasis on the common interests of industry and its competitiveness.
